This book and the commission to Finlay were dedicated to Diana, Princess of Wales by the Board of Trustees and Staff of the Serpentine Gallery. The first fold-out page consists of the architectural layout and the second a print enumerating trees in the area arranged as a mandala dedicated to Diana in its center. The commission itself consisted of poetic engravings for eight benches and a tree-plaque placed in the meadow around the Sepentine. This is an extensive architectural project for a German bank that was planned from the onset of construction. It consisted of six carved, lettered stone sculptures for the facade, poetic wall paintings, poems on glass doors, and a floor poem. The concrete and picture poems were modified from earlier published versions, e.g., wave/rock, star, evening will come, sackcloth n., wild flower n. At this exhibition, three catalogues were published and enclosed within a single slipcase. The first book that depicts the print, "Marine" on its cover, is apparently a reprinting of a catalogue laid out by Hansjorg Mayer which originated at the Kunsthalle Basel in 1990. It contains an introductory essay by Thomas Kellein. It features reproductions of publications by Finlay's Wild Hawthorn Press as well as photographic views of Stoneypath. The second book that depicts the print, "star steer" on its cover, features Finlay's stone, glass, and neon sculptures. It contains critical essays by Peter Weiermair and Stephen Bann.
